Rural renaissance - Bioeconomy and a policy framwork and governance models in rural-urban linkages.

Dette er så langt vi har spesifisert prosjektet: The scope of the project is to develop a conceptual, policy and analytical framework for the understanding and examination of existing linkages connected to bio-economy between diverse types of rural and urban areas (case studies), providing evidence on how they are interrelated, how they perform, and how they affect rural economic growth and job creation. By a deep understanding on how linkages and dependences between rural and urban activities work (using both spatial statistic method and a multi-actor approach), it is possible to identify opportunities and bottlenecks in rural-urban relationships, useful to deduce transferable policy recommendations. A transferable model of governance is suggested aiming to a) govern rural-urban relations in the bio-economic sector (policy approach), b) develop new business ideas in the bio economic sector by the rural-urban driven development of rural areas, c) and broadly support the development of the circular bio economy.
