Bondura - patented pivot pin technology

Tildelt: kr 39 999

The overall aim of the envisaged Bondura project is to conduct a large-scale demonstration across multiple channels and consequently adapt our patented pivot pin technology. Bondura designs and manufactures pin solutions to customers specifications, based on our patented and DNV GL Type-approved pin technology. Our technology is furthermore classified as «Proven Technology» within the offshore, construction and general industry since 1994. Until now, we have focused on developing the core technology and functionality of Bondura pivot pins towards the Offshore industries with the equivalent of TRL7. The next step in the evolution of our product is to conduct market maturation, adaptations and pilot it in collaboration with suitable piloting partners, with the aim of rapidly bringing it to market within the growing markets of renewables and transport. Our technology allows us to transfer ideas between industries and equipment, and the same solutions could apply to both cranes and Ferris wheels. Therefore, we intend to seek funding under the H2020 dedicated SME Instrument, to address the SMEInst-02-2016-2017 call to conduct a detailed feasibility study of our envisaged business innovation project. The key result of the project, and the criteria for success, will be the elaboration of our existing business plan based on the feasibility study. In the proposed feasibility study, we will conduct a range of market-oriented activities, including a detailed market and product analysis, competitor and cost analysis, marketing planning, and an analysis of revenue streams and investigate a range of pricing models for our product. We will also conduct a detailed stakeholder analysis and close agreements with appropriate piloting partners for our market maturation activities as well as surveying and ensuring full compliance with relevant standards and regulations. We will also update our current freedom-to-operate analysis and IPR strategy.
