ICE/IEEE International Technology Management Conference in Trondheim June13-15, 2016

ICE 2016 Conference (http://www.ice-conference.org/) is a premier conferences associated of the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society (IEEE TEMS). In 2016, the event has been successfully brought to Norway and will be organized by the Department of Computer and Information Science, NTNU in collaboration with Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology and Department of Engineering Design and Materials. The ICE 2016 conference is the 22nd edition of the conference and will be held in Trondheim, Norway, from June 13 to June 15 and also includes a NITIM graduate school (http://www.nitim.org) that runs from June 15 until June 17. General Chair is Prof Pekka Abrahamsson from NTNU. The theme for the conference is "Bringing Forward the International Agendas for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Technology & Engineering Management: Women & STEM Leadership, User-Driven & Frugal Innovations and Tech Startups" A special theme Women & STEM Leadership" is orchestrated by NTNU so the conference attracts and focuses espcially on the role of women in IT leadership. ICE 2016 is a competitive venue for publishing high quality papers. An acceptance rate of 30% is expected given the experience with previous ICE conferences. According to its tradition, the conference invites internationally renowned researchers to give keynote talks. For 2015, we aim at inviting 1. Prof. Anna Öhrwall Rönnbäck, Luleå university of technology, Sweden 2. Prof. Mark Henderson, Barrett Honors College, USA 3. Prof. Harri Haapasalo, University of Oulu, Finland 4. Hogne Titlestad, Founder, Friend Software Labs, Norway This project (requested amount to NFR 75KNOK of the 740KNOK total budget) is planned to provide support to the invited keynote speakers, fostering Norwegian tech-startup presence and women leadership track in the conference
