Objectives of the project The primary aim is to share knowledge of how to promote and optimilize motor learning and cognitive function in neurologically disabled persons. We invite to an international seminar where leading neuroscientists from home and abroad can present their research and discuss with representatives from the academic education, specialist-, municipal- and emergency- care rehabilitation sectors, and with representatives and stakeholders from stroke organizations how we can further develop our treatment and research in the field of neuroplasticity. Secondary aim is to create relationships and networks that can contribute to cooperation with leading institutions and universities in the same field. The anticipated potential for use of the project findings The seminar aims to contribute to the interconnection of research from multiple disciplines, to illuminate a common overarching problem complex, in this case, neuroplasticity and motor learning, to enhance scientific integration of the different contributions, theoretically and / or methodologically. In addition, it is desirable to initiate binding cooperation and networks with the leading institutions and between the participants in the field of neurological rehabilitation "across" institutions, nationally and internationally. This will contribute to updated knowledge and research on neuroplasticity, life cycle and rehabilitation within and across institutions.
