CleanTech Innovation As has been invited by Dr.rer.nat.habil. Alexander Ulyashin
Senior Research Scientist, SINTEF Materials and Chemistry, to participate in the formation of a potential consortium for the Horizon 2020 call LCE-04 .
The LCE-04 will build on some of R&D results and the consortium partners from the EU FP7 - EURO-Mediterranean Cooperation on Research & Training in Sun Based Renewable Energies (EUROMED SUN) with 17 partners in the EURO-MENA region http://www.eurosunmed.eu/.
The consortium members have registered for the COP-22 in Marrakech. The consortium members will, in addition to organized side events, also participate in a meeting to plan the structure of a proposal in the very initial stage for LCE-04 together and recruit other consortium members within smart grid, ICT and storage technologies.
I am applying for travel support to participate in meetings at COP 22, Marrakech during the period November 10 to 17:
1. The events for the Eurosunmed project
2. Separate initial meeting with potential consortium member from Eurosunmed for LCE-04
3. Participate in other relevant side events for networking and get input to other potential H2020 projects
4. Participate and meet with other potential technical R&D partners and relevant public sector implementing partners for future H2020 calls participating at the COP 22 within renewable energy, smart cities and sustainable transport.
If any budget items are left, I also apply to spend the rest on the budget for potential partner search and team meetings with partners related to LCE-04 up to deadline The deadline is 14 February 2017 17:00:00 CET.
The results from the travel grant will be reported as required, I hope to establish a contact base for the future R&D activities within Horizon 2020 calls as well as the H2020 SME instrument in 2017/18 for the ICT tool for emerging climate markets my company is developing in cooperation with key ICT partners.
