Bioenergy is one of the highly prioritised R&D areas in SINTEF Energy Research. There are 1 Centre for Environment-friendly energy research (FME), 3 knowledge-building Projects for Industry (KPN) and several Innovation Projects for the Industrial Sector (IPN) that are currently led and coordinated by Bioenergy Group in SINTEF Energy Research. Research
scientist Wang Liang is heavily involved in the FME CenBio and two KPN projects through working as project leader assistant, subproject leader and key researcher.
Research scientist Wang Liang applies the travel grants for the trip to Shanghai with following objectives:
1.Participating of the 2nd International Bioenergy (Shanghai) Conference and Exhibition (IBSCE), to be held in Shanghai 19-21 April 2017, to disseminate and present R&D results generted in FME and KPN project.
2.Wang Liang will serve as a member of the International Programme Committee for organizing and chairing conference sessions and reviewing submitted papers.
3.Meeting researchers in China and from other countries to enhance existing cooperation and establish new network for possible joint work and projects in the area of biomass and bioenergy.
