The proposed innovation project will: Create an environmentally friendly
method of building roads and refurbishing existing roads, contribute with
increased efficiency and time-saving of up to 80%, Contribute with increased
Cost efficiency- with lower cost per kilometer and Create durable, stable and
frost-proof road substrate
The aim of the proposed innovation project is also to arrive at a simplified
and lighter equipment package that enables an expanded commitment from
customers and local forces. This can take the form of use of their tractors
and any suitable farming equipment and water tanks in various forms.
The research and development of lighter mills and equipment for partial
replacement of motor graders will also significantly reduce shipping and
rigging costs and enable a diversification of the different working times in
the working method over a longer period if desired. This is primarily to avoid
periods of spring and autumn where tractors and agricultural equipment is
fully occupied. It will also enable the customer so they can participate in the
crushing and application work in collaboration with PayRoad.
The feasibility study will focus on the following:
The technical feasibility study will perform risk assessment for different
parts of the PayRoad concept such as the road crusher, intelligent spraying
equipment and the compactor. This tasks should determine hardware /
software redundancies and possible technical improvements for ensuring
high-level reliability for the provided solution.
Market feasibility study should provide in-depth analysis on potential
customers for the provided solution in Europe and worldwide, their expected
earnings by using the PayRoad concept, and worldwide regulatory and/or
standard requirements. This includes forest road walking and bicycle lanes
and other roads except highways
