2019 - 2019

Geografi:

The growing world population and the environmental challenges demand more focus on clean energy and health technologies. Advanced nanomaterials have paved the way for innovation and new applications in sectors. We, HVL and our research partners UiB, UoA, UiO, UoJ (Sri Lanka), UoP (Sri Lanka), CIT (India) and PSG (India) have been actively involved in collaborative research and higher education in nano materials clean energy and health sectors for a few years. We have arranged four international conferences in nano materials for clean energy and health applications with the support of NANO2021 in the past. Now, we arrange an International Conference on Advanced Materials for Clean Energy and Health Applications (AMCEHA 2019) in Jaffna, Sri Lanka that as in the past will provide a forum to exchange technical and scientific information between international researchers in the exciting field of nanomaterials. As part of the conference, we arrange a variety of symposia in the field of nanomaterials for clean energy technologies such as solar, wind, Hydrogen etc and in the field of biomaterials. Symposia will be led and chaired by leading scientists in their respective fields. The conference will target leading academic scientists, industry engineers and research scholars to have closed sessions to discuss, get ideas and plan collaborative activities. A Norwegian-Sri Lankan workshop on clean energy technologies will be arranged, and it will provide 'hands on' experience to young reasearchers in emerging solar cell technologies. An exhibition is planned and the private sector will be invited to present their technologies and solutions for clean energy and regenerative medisin based on nano materials. The conference will help to enhance and expand the international collaboration and provide a forum to initiate partnerships with the private sector to work on new innovative ideas. Good quality papers will undergo peer-review and will be published in indexed journals.
