Depositional and structural characterization of a breccia system in northern Billefjorden, Svalbard (RiS ID: 10929)

As part of my Master thesis I plan to accomplish an event stratigraphic log, acquisition of structural data and a 3D photogrammetry survey of the breccia body in Mimerbukta in order to get a better understanding of the depositional and structural evolution of the breccia and to compare the breccia bodies at Fortet and in Mimerbukta. Fieldwork will be conducted in a summer field campaign. Equipment needed for the fieldwork is already available at UNIS.
