Building European Innovation partnership on WATER challenges.

Challenges in water availability, the frequency of floods and droughts due to climate and other environmental changes, pollution trends, increased competition in water use including for industry, energy, agriculture and food production, land-use changes and increasing urbanization all require the development and implementation of robust, smart, effective and tailored water management systems, solutions and multi-sectoral governance models in Europe and globally. Through participation of the EIP Water Conference 2019, we shall be able to understand better recent European Commission policy assessments and take stock of research and innovation results and outcomes, as well as to enhance the exchange of best practices and innovative approaches at the technical, governance and policy levels. Based on the knowledge upgrade and exchange with participants, we shall find and discuss with relevant and interesting partners to our H2020 or future project proposals and other research and innovation activities.
