The goal of the SpotMe project intends to develop “a mobile rapid charging system with ESS”. As electric vehicle dissemination expands, if the electric vehicle is charged at the same time in each household at the same time, the peak load occurs in the grid, causing serious problems. SpotMe system shall be an asset to DSO to increase stability and security of operations for distribution system operators of grids (DSO) with variable loads through control and monitoring of ESS and EV charging. As ESS technology based on Li-ion battery is stabilized and EV dissemination is expanded, power energy is stored in ESS during midnight hours with low electric charges cost, and the EV is quickly charged to peak time with high demand. The main result of the project will be SpotMe system which is a combination of hardware EV chargers, Energy storage system, communication technology, big-data, charge point management and cloud computing. The concrete product to be sold to clients will constitute of 1) Mobile EV DC radid chargers with ESS capabilities, 2) SpotMe Cloud Platfrom. The operating principle of the SPOTME system is based on a novel approach that has not been utilized in this cotext/combination before
