Description of the EUROSTARS Project: Together with our partners, we will develop 2 mobile sensors that stream they 3D-data into a web-based portal. There, thge data is merged with existing ("old") data and visualized using VR- and AR-technology. Visam willl develop a web-based inspection portal for storing, visualizing, editing and analyzing 3-dimensional data. The portal handles them all: point clouds, meshes and CAD models. It allows users to digitize and import existing plans, up-/download, convert, analyze, share and discuss their 3D data, as well as attach auxiliary documents to it. Users may extend the functionality of the portal by implementing their own algorithms and profit from services offer concerning storage. In parallel, we will develop API's for virtual- and augmented reality, AI-based feature detection within 3D data and 2 sensors: 1 airborne sensor for drone appliation, and 1 subseascanner for underwater inspection. Those sensors will be used by pilot customers to test the workflow.
