Maritime demonstration of cogeneration-based integrated energy system using high power fuel cells

The present H2020 project aims to develop, install and test in real environment a fuel cells system integrated into the power grid of a cruise ship (TRL 5), optimize the efficiency by combing the fuel cells system with cycle for heat recovery, build the system “scale-up-ready” to eventually replace more and more of the gensets, develop a solution ready for blending in e-LNG on availability, and one year measurement campaign in real life targeting at high business readiness levels (TRL 9). The present PES project will help in the preparing the documentation needed for the full application, will cover the cost of the internal and external meetings to establish the work of Prototech during the project, will cover the cost related to the preparation and writing of the work package 2, milestones and deliverables, etc.
