Smart Personalised Aging Sensor (Elevating the scalability potential of European Business call)

This PES application is to financially support a high quality EU application to Women TechEU for companies with female founders whose industry involves deep tech innovation. We believe this Women TechEU call would be highly suitable and complement our ambition to create, market and sell a disruptive health technology that we are developing; ´Smart Personalised Aging Sensors`. This is an aesthetically appealing elegant device for consumers to have at home and measure their rate of aging (whether this is healthy aging or not) using biometric data (from saliva). The data collected at home would be sent to an app on the owners smartphone showing how the rate of aging is trending over time. The Women TechEU call would help us in our aim of eventually reaching the global market. This would be through increasing our network globally contributing to increased scalability of the business. The financial support for project activities, mentoring and networking opportunities provided from this call would aid in our ultimate ambition to be a world-renowned company which exploits the endocrine-immune interface for better health. This is in the form of pharmaceuticals (we have a separate drug development programme funded by Eurostars for this), as well as disruptive technologies such as the product outlined above, a device to measure aging and wellness at home. Our critical challenges are financing and resources. Background of technology: Today, we can draw conclusions as to why some people have ´younger`biological age than others. Its generally all the things you would think: not smoking, no excess alcohol, exercising regularly etc. But in the future people would be able to use our product to track their good or bad health habits. Our product uses a unique aging marker (based on 15 years of our research) that has never been considered in the field before (further described in the project description).
