Prosjektnummer:

Prosjektperiode:

2021 - 2022

The overall vision of the Women TechEU project is to pave the way for future participation in EIC calls with our novel bio-inspired robotic fishlike autonomous underwater vehicle. The patented (US 10882591 B2) mechanical design, size and flexible tail mimic the gentle undulating motion of a swimming fish with utmost power efficiency. MFAAS unobtrusively collects and delivers real-time visual and environmental data to the Aquaai web dashboard. Affordable to all Blue Economy and R&D users, MFAAS provides data to protect marine and freshwater ecosystems in a climate challenged world. MFAAS navigates via GPS waypoints, computer vision and artificial intelligence, carrying up to sixteen different sensors that capture visual, biological, environmental, and geological data – including pH, O2, temperature, salinity, sonar, acoustic, visible light and IR cameras. MFAAS weighs 20kg and can manoeuvre in confined spaces, around coral reefs and subsea structures, in calm or turbulent rivers and open seas. Our MFAAS technology has a major market potential compared to current state-of-the-art technologies. The Women TechEU grant will support activities such as upgrading the business model, updating the business plan and growth strategy, finding partners and investors, market validation, etc.
