Multifunctional materials for sustainable structural power devices

The PES funds will be key to maximize the chances of succeeding with the application to the Horizon Europe call (topic entitled “Advanced lightweight materials for energy efficient structures”). The funding will enable ONiO to actively support the coordinating organization and other partners in writing and submitting a very competitive proposal in a challenging R&D topic. ONiO will contribute in writing parts of the proposal that concern our R&D work and specific tasks in the project as well as exploitation of results and other complementary parts. The project proposal will focus on the development of new structural power materials based on sustainable constituents and respective green manufacturing processes. The consortium will aim at technological breakthroughs in structural batteries and supercapacitors for potential applications within a wide range of areas.
