Management of water infrastructure system security under hydroclimate extremes

Flooding and drought disasters have been among the major challenges in Europe and the whole world. Climate change, in particular the extreme events have amplified the consequences and added significant impacts on human health, society and the environment in the places where they have attacked. The project ExSafeWater is targeting the two major water challenging problems, develops smart digital tools, adaptation and mitigation solutions to improving resilience and adaptation capacity of water infrastructure systems and water supply security in Europe and internationally.
