The pre-project aims to foster equitable collaboration with new research partners from low- and lower-middle-income countries (LLMICs) and local user partners. This involves forming a transdisciplinary consortium and further developing the proposal for the Collaborative and Knowledge-building Global Health call. The main project’s overarching goal is to enhance our understanding of the impacts of climate change and land-use change on human health. The main project aspires to be transdisciplinary, bringing together researchers from diverse fields and actively engaging with local communities. This collaboration aims to enhance scientific modelling and impact assessments. Pre-project activities include establishing contacts with relevant research and user partners, organizing virtual meetings, and culminating in an in-person workshop hosted by CICERO. These activities will help identify research partners with complementary expertise in epidemiology, as well as partners with strong connections to local communities.
