Our company are responsible for 2 work packages in this MSCA industrial doctoral networks project. The objectives of our two work packages are as follows. Iron is the cheapest metal. We are utilizing iron-based materials to develop highly safe, non-flammable, and low-cost all iron redox flow battery. This project aims to prepare and select electrolyte, as well as measure thermodynamics properties of electrolyte for all iron redox flow battery application. In addition, this project aims to investigate how thermodynamics properties of electrolyte will influence the performance of all iron redox flow battery, incluidng charge and discharge speed, specific capacity, as well as energy density. All iron redox flow battery will be made and tested in our laboratory.
