KOSK-Katalyse og organisk syntetisk kjemi

Transition metal corrole chemistry: self-assembly, transition metal chemistry, and catalysis

Awarded: NOK 0.72 mill.

It is expected that one postdoc will pursue the organic aspect of the project: further development of the one-pot corrole synthesis, an exploration of its generality, functionalization of corroles, etc. A second individual should focus on the coordinati on chemistry, primarily inorganic synthesis, while a third individual should focus on physical measurements. Emphasis will be placed on the discovery of new reactions, new complexes and intermediates, and new electronic-structural and mechanistic insight s.
