Location:

The project is a continuation of an earlier project with the same title (project number: 142392/V30). Beside more formal networks, all active mathematicians are members of informal international networks consisting of mathematicians sharing the same rese arch interest, working in the same field and working on related research problems. In order to learn from each other, initiate research cooperation and actually do research together, mathematicians in such networks need to meet. Such meetings can take pla ce either on international conferences/workshops or by more informal invitations of guest researcher/lecturer from one institutions to another. In mathematics such meeting are basic conditions for research cooperation and a substantial part of the researc h, especially in pure mathematics, is a result of such "face to face" meeting between researchers from different research institutions.
