NOP Nordic Psychology

Awarded: NOK 39,999

The purpose of Nordic Psychology is to promote exchange between psychological theory and practical application, through giving access to research to a broad, international readership including researchers, practitioners and students. Empirical, theoretica l and methodological papers are welcomed, including qualitative studies, action research, case studies, critical reviews of the literature, experimental studies and surveys. Important criteria in the selection of process are quality of argument and execut ion, clarity in presentation and educational significance. Nordic Psychology reflects the special approaches used by psychologists in Nordic welfare societies. This includes a developed public health system, a fine-meshed social security system, a high educational level, a fully developed working programme for children and young persons, and intense working efforts in the area of refugees. Nordic Psychology is from 2012 published in cooperation with Routledge, and receives support from the Joint Commi ttee for Nordic Research Councils for the Humanities and Social Sciences (NOS-HS).
