Graphiq - Beautiful design on demand

Graphiq is a platform that connects companies with graphic designers. Graphiq was founded 07.12.2015 by NTNU students Jakob Palmers and Erik Sandsmark. Design of graphical interfaces (websites, apps, logos, animations, presentations and marketing material) is a need all companies have. There are increasing demands on the quality of design, and it must be delivered quickly. Traditionally companies use design agencies to meet this need, but they are expensive and have slow delivery due to overgrown processes. Therefore, it has become more and more popular to use freelancers. However, it is difficult and time consuming to find talented freelance designers, and especially find the one that suits your project when all design projects have different needs. At Graphiqs website customers get help to create a project brief through a chat with a Design Director. Graphiq have a database of pre-qualified designers. Based on the project brief, a matching algorithm recommends the most suitable designers from the database. The Design Director then selects out 3 of them based on personal understanding of the project. The customer chooses which of the three he would like to work with, based on their portfolio and references. The Customer is then put in direct contact with the designer in a communications tool where they can cooperate. The customer pays the predetermined project price when the project is delivered. Graphiq takes between 10-30% of the project cost.
