Sci-Code. Big Data Driven Intelligent Tutorial Platform

Alternative title: Sci-Code. Big Data Driven Intelligent Tutorial Platform

Awarded: NOK 1.00 mill.

Stimulating education - optimization of learning Norwegian education will painfully notice increased disruption in learning technology, and Norwegian companies lacking effective tools for conversion and dissemination of knowledge are at risk of losing market share. Sci-Code takes learning to the next level for educational institutions and businesses in this critical phase, with the learning platform sci-code.org, which includes amazing code-visualization, and adaptive feedback on tasks. On sci-code.org you can create amazing stimulating content and automated tests in less than a week, due to an innovative user interface optimized for educational institutions and businesses. The project is based on the latest technology in web platform development, the latest research in the field of Machine Learning, as well as research and knowledge from education, e-learning, and adaptability to new learning tools, etc. All in all, Sci-Code provides a robust basis for future development and innovation in education. With the support of MatRIC (matric.no) and the researchers at the university, it was possible to develop the product to a high level, as can be seen today. The teacher can create and edit courses continuously, while student / employee receives immediate feedback and visualization of their achievements. The platform also guides the user through advanced problems using artificial intelligence. This is why MatRIC (Center for Research, Innovation and Coordination of Mathematics Teaching), the first sponsor and an important supervisor of the Sci-Code and the University of Agder has already invested 380,000kr in the development of the website. Sci code is already in use in a subject for engineering students at the University of Agder. We will maintain this close dialogue we have had with a number of professors, researchers and lecturers at the University of Agder throughout the project period, and look forward to entering into all educational institutions in the future.
