Digitalisering, testing av urbane hubber for redistribusjon og logistikkoptimalisering av varer ved bruk av ledig kapasitet med grønn profil

Porter AS is an innovative IT company with a focus on development and operating disruptive solutions for urban delivery models. The company has developed smart algorithms that enables co-driving and optimization of routes, offering more effective deliveries, less toxic waste and need for fewer vehicles. Porter´s technology enables a forward-looking cooperation between several different parties in an innovation eco-system between retailers, transportation companies and end-users in continuously "smarter" cities. To minimize the negative consequences of pedestrianized city centers we create new logistic paradigms that enable and offer new service concepts to the advantage of consumers and the environment, all while we contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of physical stores and urban retailers through flexible logistics services - in an ever-increasing digitalized eco system. Through dialogue with existing and new e-com partners Porter has seen an increasing need for urban distribution hubs in Oslo to be used for exchanging and allocating goods btwn couriers, for instant redistribution. The hubs may be fixed installations or mobile - in early phases as light as containers or vans. This service will complement our existing offering of point-to-point deliveries directly to the end-user. Combines it will constitute a ground-breaking and sustainable digital concept for distribution og goods in urban areas.

Porter AS utvikler unik internetteknologi innen delingsøkonomien. Selskapet er del av StartupLabs satsning innen MobilityLab sammen med bl.a. Ruter, Telenor og MøllerGruppen. For å løse transportbehovet i storbyer for leveranser av varer samme/neste dag har Porter utviklet ny disruptiv teknologi (software med tilhørende tjenester) som bidrar til vesentlig bedre utnyttelse av eksisterende infrastruktur med allokering og leveranser i sanntid. Tjenesten styrker tradisjonell varehandels konkurransekraft i møtet med e-handelens frammarsj, særlig med en urban infrastruktur som blir stadig mer krevende ift tilgang, parkering og avgifter. Prosjektet består av 3 faser: (i) Teknisk og fysisk simulering og testing av data (ii) Faktisk realtidssimulering av redistribusjon i hub (iii) Intervjuer og A/B testing En vellykket pilot vil avklare mulighetene for utrulling av digitaliserte hubber i større skala i skjæringspunktet urban transport, teknologi og varehandel.
