Intelligent fishing utilizing autonomous underwater drones (AUDs) PES support

ECO Trawl replaces trawl doors by a patented autonomous underwater drone solution (AUD) which enables a completely new and intelligent way of low impact trawling placing us as a leader in Sustainable Ocean Harvesting. The powerful electric AUDs are placed where the trawl doors are today. The easily steerable and highly responsive AUDs replace the traction power from the boat’s propeller, bringing 30% cuts in fuel use and GHG emissions while giving precision fishing for 20% productivity gains. Our AUDs can change depth 350% faster than trawl doors, improve course accuracy and trawl opening accuracy by 40% bringing by-catch down 20%. Controlled bottom trawling=less seabed damage, less CO2 emissions, less lost gear/ghost fishing.
