Today, paper towels account for 20-40% of all waste generated by public and commercial buildings. Accumulating paper towels in public washrooms lead to poor waste disposal and overflow, rendering the room unpleasant and filthy. With regular waste bins, plastic bags are prematurely discarded before their volume potential is fully utilized. Frequent waste bag disposal results in high costs associated with cleaning and waste management of indoor public areas. Compax Systems (TM) is a state-of-the-art smart waste compactor for paper waste, making indoor waste management more efficient, cost-saving and more environmentally friendly. Our patented technology reduces the volume of paper towel waste by up to 15 times, while collecting valuable data from sensors for further processing. Our product is delivered though an innovative Hardware-as-a-service (HaaS) business model. The EIC funding will help us mature the product and prepare it for mass production prior to global market expansion.
