Citizens4power - PES funding

CITIZENS4POWER will empower citizens to play an active role in the transformation of the food systems, in alignment with the Food 2030 agenda. A diverse group of stakeholders, ranging from local producers and policymakers to scientists and everyday people, are coming together to facilitate data-driven decision-making rooted in citizen science, for a significant dietary shift, less food waste along the food chain and better EU policies. The initiative emphasizes the pivotal role that ordinary citizens can play in driving these transformative changes. In addition to citizen involvement, data-driven decision-making is central to our approach. We are building bridges between various data sources, involving citizens in data collection, and establishing governance protocols for data sharing (FAIR from the start).
