MAIRROR

The objective of the MAIRROR proposal is to develop tools to help define design and process guidelines from any level of the characterisation pyramid. Currently, there is only interactions between the adjacent levels, but our project wants to break these barriers and generate new connections thanks to AI tools. In this way, even from the top of the pyramid (full structure assembly), the user of the tool could e.g. define which material properties/geometries/details are required to meet technical requirements, analyze the contribution of each change to the targets set, evaluate new design concepts, etc. in a much more efficient way and with a broader view in the value chain. Therefore, the resulting Tool Suite will help to identify the key points for questions such as: - How can I reduce weight? - Is this design feasible? - What should I modify to meet the requirements? - How and how much do these geometry modifications affect the performance? - How does this process parameter affect the reliability of the structure? - Do I need to improve the process? or changing some details/material properties may be enough to meet the requirements?
