Urban forestry in Norway

We are planning this study to be a thre Dr.scient study of visual perceptions of forest interior and structures, with especial emphasis on structures important for conservation of biodiversity. The research is divided into three parts; 1) National overvie w over urban forestry management, practice and challenges, 2) Perceptions of forest structures and infrastructures in a afforestation area 3) Perceptions of forest structures important for conservation of biodiversity. The study will build on the forestry traditions in research and mamagement, and will utilize a wide cooperation between the disciplines ethnology and environmental psychology.
