International Conference on Spectral and High Order Methods

The numerics group at the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology has been invited to be the local organizer of the 8th International Conference On Spectral And High Order Methods (ICOSAHOM) in Trondheim, Norway, during the period June 22-26, 2009. We expect about 200 participants from all over the world. The scientific committee consists of 14 leading international researchers in computational methods. The scientific committee has selected 10 invited spea kers, and all of them have accepted the invitation. Topic-specific minisymposia will be organized, and the conference proceedings will be published either as a special volume of a regular journal or as an edited book. We will offer financial support for students, young researchers, and other participants with the need for financial help.
