Kongsberg Maritime will arrange for making a HUGIN 1000 AUV available to the project. This AUV will be used for integration of the through ice RF equipment, initial sea trials and realistic demonstration in an under ice environment.Kongsberg Maritime will contribute to specification of the through ice RF equipment to ensure its usefulness in under ice AUV operations. Kongsberg Maritime will also contribute to overall system solution, and specifications on how to use of the system in arctic under ice opera tions with autonomous underwater vehicles.Kongsberg Maritime will integrate the RF equipment into the HUGIN 1000 AUV. Integration involves mechanical design and manufacturing, power and electric signal interfaces, and software interface between the RF equ ipment the AUV control system.
