Learners learn differently. Research shows that learners learn best when the learning experience is personalized to individual needs. OER is an ideal learning environment to meet the diverse needs of learners, including learners with disabilities. EurAFLOE will support The FLOE (Flexible Learning for Open Education) Project and the OER community through testing their sustainable, integrated approach to accessible learning, and its ability to address the needs of learners who currently face barriers. This approach will advance the strengths and values of open education and encourage pedagogical and technical innovation. This proposal will de velop content portability, updated resources that facilitates, internationalization and localization, content reuse and repurposing, and more efficient and effective content discovery.
