NHH-Mannheim Double-degree program for the academic year of 2013-2014

I am applying for the Ruhrgas as a Master student enrolled in the exchange/double-degree program at NHH-Norwegian School of Economics and the University of Mannheim. I am applying both for the fall semester of 2013 and the spring semester of 2014. Upon completion of this program I will receive two master degrees: NHH MSc. in Economics and Business Administration and Mannheim Master in Management. The two master degrees included in this program are ranked 46 and 14 respectively in the Financial Times' ra nking in "Master in Management 2012". The program consists of a major profile taken at NHH, a minor profile taken in Mannheim and a master thesis written for a chair at the University of Mannheim. Both schools accept this combination as equivalent to thei r ordinary master programs. This is a very selective program. Consequently, there are only three or four students at NHH attending this program each year. My major in Financial Economics at NHH is considered as the major at the University of Mannheim. Th e classes I will attend at the University will be limited by mandatory courses in the Master in Management curriculum. I have taken some equivalent classes at NHH and will therefore attend only two mandatory classes: Decision Analysis and Business Economi cs 1. Furthermore, I will do three electives, attend one master thesis seminar, and write my master thesis in this academic year.
