The syntax-morphology interface: Evidence from multilingualism

This proposal attempts to study the syntax-morphology interface from the point of view of multilingualism. Using this kind of data to illuminate theoretical questions concerning this interface is a new approach within the field of linguistics. A group fro m the University of Stuttgart (led by Professor Artemis Alexiadou) and one from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim (led by Associate Professor Terje Lohndal) will collaborate closely. They both have the necessary expertise and they complement each other in a way that strongly benefits the present project.
