3rd Nordic Conference on Research in Patient Safety and Quality in Healthcare

The overall theme of the conference is "Patient Safety and Quality in Healthcare". The aim is to gather Nordic researchers working in the field of patient safety and quality improvement in order to share knowledge and ideas. Leading and internationally re nowned researchers will be giving key-note presentations. Selected attendees will have the opportunity to present their research followed by discussion within the following themes: a) Research methods in patient safety and quality improvement b) Identi fication and mitigation of risks, hazards and quality deficits c) Translating evidence into practice d) Evaluation of safety and quality interventions e) Involvement of patients and relatives in patient safety and quality improvement f) Measuring and improving safety culture g) Regulating for patient safety and quality h) Organizational characteristics affecting safety and quality The conference is multi-professional and researchers from disciplines such as medical science, humanities and social sc iences as well as engineering constitute the target group. In addition, clinicians and practitioners who wants an update of the evidence and status of research in safety and quality will be iinvited.
