Event support for COST IS1007-meeting in Norway, 13-15 May 2014: Cultures of Sustainability in the Age of Climate Crisis

The COST event in Norway in Bø 13-15 May will be organized as a symposium, and the attached project description explains in more detail the objectives, reasons and program for COST-meeting. The meeting will take place as a planned activity: a symposium fo cusing on cultures of sustainability in the age of climate crisis. The meeting fulfils the aims and implementation of the Action described in detail in the MoU (available at www.culturalsustainability.eu.). The program includes open parts with a scientifi c program for the general public, and closed sessions for the COST participants. In addition to sought funding from Norwegian Research Council (57 000 NOK), the meeting will be funded by COST (48824 Euros, 410 000 NOK), using the full opportunities for CO ST funding. Norwegian Research Council funding will cover expenses related to the open parts of the scientific program for the general public, covering i.e. all costs for keynote speakers. Telemark University College contributes with own funding, as does local sponsors.
