Novel safe and rapid passenger and airport terminal scanner

Our project is driven by a commercial need which we see as a significant opportunity to ourselves, our current and perspective partners in the European airport security industry. In addition, the successful project should open global airport security mark et to us. We would like to propose a novel 3D-SAFEAIR approach to high-throughput millimeter wave screening which should allow such real-time screening. We propose to use a number of mm-wave transmitters and holographic receivers to cover an area where p eople are moving. The equipment will be positioned in a way to image from different angles. The acquired images are processed either in the capturing device or in a central location to identify possible objects of threat. 3D-SAFEAIR will offer the abili ty to scan multiple persons at the real time (moving with the speed of up to 4 km/hr) virtually eliminating airport security queues and this will be our unique selling point.
