SET 8: Norsk deltakelse i European Photovoltaic Technology Platform 2015-2017

The European Photovoltaic Technology Platform (www.eupvplatform.org)is an independent and objective body which aims to be the recognized point of reference for key decision and policy makers. The Platform?s mission is to develop a strategy and corresponding implementation plan for education, research & technology development, innovation and market deployment of photovoltaic solar energy, to realize its vision. SINTEF, IFE and NMBU is represented in the board and as members of the expert pool. This project is supporting the representatives and activities related to: -Participate in meetings arranged by the EUPVTP and contribute to the necessary work to achieve the goals -Cooperate and coordinate with other EU-related groups such as EERA steering group and the SET-plan steering group -Arrange 1-2 annual open shadowgroup meetings that will be announced through the NFR EU-info letters. - Work together with NFR - Contribute to information in NFRs EU info letters Norwegian contribution in the steering committee and in the expert pool for various working groups: Steering committee: - Eivind Øvrelid, SINTEF Industry strategy and policy: -Eivind Øvrelid, SINTEF, Sean Erik Foss og Erik Stensrud Marstein, IFE, og Espen Olsen, NMBU Building integrated PV (BIPV): -Berit Time, SINTEF, Sean Erik Foss, IFE og Espen Olsen, NMBU Grid integration: -Mari Juel, SINTEF

Deltagere i prosjektet har deltatt i flere søknader med Norske Industripartnere. Vi har deltatt i strategiarbeid i EU regi og blitt mer synlig. Prosjektet har gitt en bedre forståelse av EU systemet for alle deltagere. Vi har formidlet budskap fra EU og jobbet for at norska aktører skal delta mer i EU prosjekter.

Dette prosjektet vil videreføre aktiviteter for å posisjonere norske miljøer bedre i EU forhold til deltagelse innenfor solcelleteknologiområdet i blant annet Horizon2020. Det er viktig at norske aktører er med på å påvirke implementeringsplanen til SEII samt være med i diskusjonen rundt utformingen og utlysninger i Horizon 2020 programmet. Som et ledd i å komme nærmere beslutningstagere i EU og medvirke til agendasetting vil gruppen delta aktivt i den vitenskapelige og tekniske arbeidsgruppen til European Photovoltaic Technology Platform (EPTP). Denne gruppen har en funksjon som rådgivende forskningskomite for Solar Europe Industry Initiative som vil være en viktig arena for agendasetting i forhold til den neste 3-årige implementeringsplanen.
