Twenty-fifth Color and Imaging Conference

Awarded: NOK 49,999

The Twenty-fifth Color and Imaging Conference (CIC) will be arranged in Lillehammer, Norway, September 11-15, 2017. We would like to support organization and content of the workshops at CIC, which in 2017 will focus on three topics that is highly relevant in the research field nationally and internationally. These fields are: Cultural heritage, Virtual Reality and 360° capture, and medical applications. The workshops are interactive, and consist of short presentations and moderated discussion. Since the workshops are based on topics of interest to the community, they contribute with increasing communication and knowledge transfer among attendees. The workshops have in the past been well-attended, and participants enjoyed the chance to ask and discuss a variety of questions with the presenters. The low threshold for interaction enables the opportunity to discuss novel ideas, problems, and future directions for research in industry and academia. We see a great opportunity with the conference being held in Norway to involve and expose Norwegian researchers and engineers to the color and imaging field.
