The Norwegian Association of medical doctors anticipate that up to 60% of all elderly citizens are suffering from malnutrition or dehydration. This contributes greatly to a reduced quality of life for the elderly, and increased costs for the healthcare sector.
Mode Sensors AS is developing a novel method for early phase detection and prevention of dehydration. The goal is to increase the quality of life of the elderly citizens and empower the citizens to take care of their own health.
