AGILEFIT- Automation-based renovation for residential building portfolios combining semantic BIM with user-centric tools and methods.

Project mission AGILEFIT will enable AECO professionals and consultants deliver renovation projects faster, with less defects, and a more satisfied clientele; help owners to capture hidden value and structure their projects for optimal impact and return; and provide occupants and the wider community with meaningful ways to engage and contribute early in a renovation project or programme. To make good on these promises, AGILEFIT will develop automated, BIM-enabled modelling, analysis, decision, and collaboration tools and services along the design-execution, operation renovation chain, delivered through an open federated cloud platform that is secure and scalable. A holistic design and decision making approach ensures that machine-based design and optimisation alternates with stakeholder-driven requirements, assessment, and selection processes in meaningful and effective ways to produce best value renovation measures. For Smart Construction Cluster the overall gaol is to link up to leading research and development actors related to the transition of the AEC industry to Model Based (BIM) palnning, production and operation&maitenance. A key goal is to enable increased export opportunities for our Nordic IT and AE members. The most challenging elements for AGILEFIT in the proposal development phase: (1) To design a consortium setup and split of roles that tap every partners strenghts. (2) To build mutual knowledge and trust among new partners.
