Agile Methodology to support Interior-design and home electronic goods MAnufacturing through additive manufacturing, IoT and blockchain

The overall objective of AMIMA is to support the European habitat industry (furniture and lighting including smart home devices) through the implementation of new methods for customer involvement creation and the development of MDFs. For that, we will develop a tailored methodology and training involving Do It Yourself (DIY) and “makers” philosophy coming from open spaces such as fab and living labs targeting craft manufacturers and interior designers. Furthermore, during this project, different and tailored business models will be proposed and analysed in order to support entrepreneurs in digital fabrication related with the interior design industry. In this sense, to boost new and existing MDFs, we will innovate and develop different industry 4.0 technologies: AM manufacturing for series production in metal; Collaborative robots to support digital manufacturing facilities; Internet of things sensors and cloud platform to monitor the performance of the MDF and the later analysis of all the data coming from all our MDFs network. AMIMA aims to protect the property of new designs developing a new blockchain architecture for supporting licenses and products liability law.
