Extensive trials have been carried out using the hot embossing and injection molding machine to produce cost-effective replicas of the blaze grids. The developed RAMAN system includes many fragile components that also are sensitive to contamination. Detailed assembly instructions were derived and iterative improvements were always incorporated to ensure robust alignment and to ensure the optical quality of the system. Further work has been done on finalizing the mobile application and the cloud based backend administrative- and service system as well as the signal processing and analysis software. In relation to what was anticipated in the application we have managed to get closer to a fully functional app with back end integration. Field tests regarding the overall acceptance of the system by working with respondents from fitness clubs and ultra sport performers have been finalized. The conclusion on the field tests are positive showing a satisfactory acceptance of the solution but also gives good input regarding further developments / functionalities. Based on the bill of material, we have sourced potential partners for supplying components and assembly of the device. This has been made based on defined criteria for a potential production partner. Work has been done to assess the best route to market with the Fit-up device. During this process we have had discussions with a range of potential partners for bringing the project further. The overall conclusion is that we have managed to create a strong foundation for a fitness tracker but need to further increase the ability to measure very low concentrations. We are confident that we have managed to outline how we can achieve this higher accuracy by implementing SERS technology in the device.

* Project management The coordinator manages the overall progress of the project, monitoring and control of project achievements, milestone and communication within the partners of the project team. * Development of a Raman spectrometer to analyze the urine which is at low cost, reliable and sensitive (detecting small concentration of biomarkers) and development of a chemometric solution to support the hardware, which is self-calibrating, i.e. an algorithm based on the use of Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Multiplicative Scatter/Signal Correction (MSC) and Partial Least Squares (PLS) regression to identify max positive and negative variation for individual substances. * Design of the device/user interface System specification and market analysis of the current market for fitness application including competitors and potential weakness or gaps in similar devices will be carried out. Upon this, a process for design and development that meets all current industry standards and regulations will be set-up. * App design User interface description for device and app will be described. Protocol for sampling processing and protocol for software implementation and integration. * Production scheduling The protocol is conducted to ensure a supply chain, where outsourced tasks, sub supplier’s deliverables and own core knowledge are combined in an efficient operation. * IPR monitoring Protection of project results – IPR: Identifying and assessing the project results and ensure that the required IPR are assigned based on recommendations from the partners/team members. * Go-to-market plan A detailed go-to-market-plan will be prepared. This plan includes review on segmentation, preparing the introduction and the scaling up for the Scandinavian test market and in the second step the European market.
