Project Establishment Support summary: - bringing on board the true key opinion leaders (KOLs) within the specific field or topic - establishing a core consortium with hight excellence - developing a basic plan, drafting the scope, goal and objectives and rough outline of the project - bringing in the rest of the partners - aligning all the partners' opinions, ideas into a common vision, a clear project idea - defining project scope and content based on contributions from the partners - defining a coherent and clearly focused project plan - defining work packages and assign responsibilities (work package leaders) - compiling and submitting the proposal Brief description of the proposal Smart Living (SL) seeks to improve the human living condition by enhancing the integrated system of people, technology and environment. SL requires interdisciplinary effort in numerous fields among the business, economics, engineering, humanities, statistics, science, and social science disciplines to advance a sustainable and healthy society. The H2020 project aims to make Smart Living Environments (SLE) accessible to ageing people, helping them create a meaningful, dignified, rewarding and healthy independent life with advanced smart living innovations. Therefore, the project will have the following objectives: • International cooperation: Fostering innovations through international cooperation in research and development for SLE for ageing people (SLEA). • Social science: Developing a theoretical framework for empirically determining the core factors that can affect the elderly users' acceptance of smart living environments and healthcare services. • Health science: Integrating novel therapies into the smart living environments to help recovery and accelerate rehabilitation. • Technology: Advancing Smart Living for Ageing persons by harnessing the latest technological innovations and by developing data analytics and integration frameworks for SLE.
