The PhD candidate resumed research activities in August 2025 following maternity leave. By the end of 2024, the candidate had successfully submitted the second PhD manuscript, which presents a study on the enzymatic activity of various mesopelagic species. Dissemination activities were completed as planned, and in 2025 the candidate will once again participate in the EFFoST Conference (Oporto, November 2025). The third PhD manuscript, focusing on processing technologies and the storage of mesopelagic species, is ready for submission. The candidate is currently drafting the fourth manuscript, which is expected to be submitted in early 2026
