The goal of the SpotMe project intends to develop a mobile ?Distributed Energy Resourse" (DER) based on ?a
mobile rapid charging system" EV's + battery + mobility = Flexible DER for grid operators and critical infrastructure.
Growth in electric vehicle (EV) expands exponentially in a global scale. EV drivers user patterns of energy in the grid, increases peak load in the grid, creating volatility in power demands and could causing serious problems if not addressed. SpotMe system shall use the asset to DSO counter act the volatility and create a more stable and optimal flow of energy between EV, batteries and grid.
The concrete product to be sold to clients will constitute of
1) Mobile EV DC rapid chargers with ESS capabilities,
2) SpotMe Cloud Platform with a licenced SmartCharge back office for EV charging. The operating principle of the
SpotMe system is based on a novel approach that has not been utilised in this context/combination before.
