Rammeavtale PES Norsk Regnesentral 2021-2022

The framework agreement NR2021-RA-PES will position the Norwegian Computing Centre to compete in the Horizon Europe program. The project enables the institute to refine its strategy and action plan for participation in the Horizon Europe (HEU) program. This work also includes positioning the Norwegian Computing Centre in HEU initiatives and expanding the institute's leading role in the areas of machine learning and statistical modelling, earth observation, and critical topics in ICT research, including digital security, privacy, software development and smart ICT systems with a human-centred focus. The activities in the project will also foster competence development about participation in HEU, network building and provide the opportunity to influence priorities in the HEU work programs. The focus of the project will be the development of high-quality project proposals. Thus, PES will enable the Norwegian Computing Centre to position its research abilities nationally and internationally.

Prosjektet NR2021-RA-PES er en rammeavtale som skal posisjonere Norsk Regnesentral mot Horisont Europa programmet. Prosjektet skal sette instituttet i stand til å raffinere strategi og handlingsplan for deltakelse i Horisont Europa (HEU) programmet. Dette arbeidet omfatter også posisjonering av instituttet i HEU initiativer og bygge ut instituttets ledende rolle innen områdene maskinlæring og statistisk modellering, jordobservasjon, og utvalgte temaer innen IKT-forskning, bl.a., digital sikkerhet, personvern, programvareutvikling og smarte IKT-systemer med menneske i sentrum. Prosjektet skal også føre til kompetanseheving om deltakelse i HEU, nettverksbygging og gi muligheten til å påvirke prioriteringer i HEU arbeidsprogrammene. Videre vil utvikling av prosjektforslag med høy kvalitet stå i fokus av dette prosjektet. Dermed vil PES muliggjøre faglig og markedsmessig posisjonering nasjonalt og internasjonalt.
