Deltaking i Horisont Europa – strategi og handling for Høgskulen i Volda

Volda University College has ambitions to participate in Horizon Europe. To succeed in this, we will prepare a strategy and action plan for participation. Furthermore, we will build competence among our researchers when it comes to application writing and among the staff in the research administration when it comes to quality assessment of applications. We also want to position Volda University College internationally as we have several academic milieus and research groups that are relevant for calls in Horizon Europe. The project's overall goal is to prepare applications for Horizon Europe - mainly within "Culture, creativity and inclusive society" (pillar 2, cluster 2). The goal of the strategy and action plan for participation in Horizon Europe is to involve the leadership, provide a good framework for applicants, and motivate and inspire all levels in the organization. Milestones for this initiative are the implementation of two strategy seminars, and the result will be a strategy with an action plan for participation in Horizon Europe for the coming years. The goal of competence building will be to increase knowledge about Horizon Europe in the entire organization. Milestones for this measure will be the completion of courses and seminars. The goal of positioning Volda University College internationally will be to be known among several possible partners. Milestones will be preparing and disseminating information through media coverage, social media, documentary dissemination, and systematic use of databases. The result will be that our researchers and research groups become more visible internationally. The PES support will be instrumental in realizing the participation in Horizon Europe for Volda University College.

Høgskulen i Volda har ikkje tidlegare lykkast med å delta i EUs rammeprogram. Vi ønsker difor å utarbeide ein strategi og handlingsplan for deltaking i dei kommande åra. Vidare vil vi styrke fagmiljøa i søknadsskrivinga og kompetanse for kvalitetssikring av søknader. PES-støtte vil vere instrumentell for å realisere deltaking i Horisont Europa for Høgskulen i Volda.
