Dynamic Well Solutions AS designs, develops and manufactures complete and fully integrated well service
equipment for the oilandgasindustry. In this project, we are proposing the Dynavac Separator (DynaSep) which is a
novel, fully integrated waste handling system that can allow drilling mud waste to be treated directly on board an offshore rig. This system is a digitalized, sustainable, responsible and cost-efficient waste management solution. DynaSep will process the drilling mud waste on board the rig to a level that is treatable by the rig’s own drilling waste processing units. This is highly beneficial for the environmental footprint, as it eliminates the need to send the drilling mud waste to shore for
treatment. This also entails large cost savings and elimination of weather-dependent and dangerous crane lifting
activities. DynaSep is characterized by a fully integrated automatic system supported by computer and machine learning, and all operations are performed automatically in a seamless fashion. Moreover, the product can be installed on all types ofoffshore drilling platforms such as jack ups, semi-submersibles and drill ships.
This project will design, build, demonstrate, quantify the performance and show the robustness of the DynaSep
system using advanced state-of-the art digitaltwin models in combination with detailed reliability assessments.
